Tokyo 2021 – Olympic Games dates confirmed
The postponed Tokyo Olympics due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be held from July 23 to August 8 in 2021, the opening ceremony will take place on July 23, 2021. The new dates for the Paralympic Games are August 24 to September 5, 2021.
After the 1964 edition, which ensured the growth of the country’s economy and favored the transformation and opening up of Japan to the outside world, Tokyo will host for the second time the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games “from 24 July to August 09, 2020 ”which will be the most innovative edition in the history of the Games thanks to the infrastructure and high technology integrated into the competition sites.

From July 24 to August 9, 2020, eyes and hearts will travel to Tokyo, which will host the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, an edition characterized by innovation, technology and new disciplines. The 2020 Summer Games are already called “The Green Games”

Five new sports to debut at Tokyo 2020
Five new sports have been added to the 2020 Olympics: karate, baseball/softball, sport climbing , skateboarding and surfing. The last three sports mentioned can all be classified as extreme sports.
